Will helps unhappy people to get out of unhappy relationships. Will believes strongly in resolving these cases without going to Court. He recognises that Court proceedings are expensive, are emotionally stressful for the parties and makes it more difficult for parents to cooperate in parenting their children in the future. For these reasons, Will has qualified as a Collaborative Lawyer and a Mediator.

Collaborative Law involves the parties agreeing to avoid Court and to work with each other in round table meetings in order to reach agreement in regard to their family disputes.

Mediation is where the parties attend with a neutral Mediator in a safe and confidential environment and try to resolve their differences by amicable discussion rather than conflict.

Will leads the highly regarded Nash & Co Family Law Team.

Will has been a specialist Family Law Solicitor since he qualified in 1994. He is a Member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, which recognises his significant experience in dealing with complex children issues, including where the Local Authority wish to remove children from the care of their parents. Will has represented both parents and children in these proceedings.

Will is also a Member of Family Law Panel (Advanced Tier) which recognises his experience in dealing with divorcing couples and their related financial issues. Will is accredited by Resolution (www.resolution.org.uk) as a specialist Family Lawyer with particular specialisms in Advocacy for financial Provision and private children law proceedings.

Will heads up the Family Law Team, which has an Associate, three Solicitors, a Legal Executive, two Paralegals and four experienced Secretaries.

Will is also a Member of a number of associations including Regional Secretary of Devon Resolution, British Agencies for Adoption and Fostering, Association of Lawyers for Children, Plympod (Plymouth) Liaison Officer, Secretary to the committee of the Emmanuel Church Child Contact Centre and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
