He has previously worked in their Yeovil, Sherborne and Bridgwater offices, having had previous legal experience in Bournemouth. Richard became a partner in 2001, having qualified as a solicitor in 1994. A family man himself, being married with 3 children, he appreciates the necessity for painless and smooth transitions for divorcing and separating couples with or without children from being together to living separately. A committed member of Resolution, Richard works keenly to ensure that the cases with which he deals settle as amicably, cost-effectively and expeditiously as possible. Richard is an accredited specialist panel member of Resolution and is a trained collaborative family practitioner. He is, as well, a Law Society Family Law panel member. Richard is a Board member of the Dorchester Citizens Advice Bureau and the Friends of West Dorset CABx. Richard's speciality is in assisting clients with large financial disputes and is well versed in dealing with - for example - farming partnerships and shareholdings in limited companies of many descriptions.
